Dan McGowan

Dan McGowan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dan most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for West Point Optical, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of VP, Corporate Controller at the same company from October 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining West Point Optical, Dan was the Vice President of Finance and Administration (CFO) at Greenpoint Metals from March 2017 to October 2021. Dan also worked at UC Health as the Corporate Controller from January 2016 to February 2017.

Prior to their time at UC Health, Dan worked at Luxottica Retail North America in various roles. Dan was the Sr Manager IT Finance from June 2014 to January 2016, and the Sr Manager General Accounting from July 2012 to June 2014.

Dan's earlier experiences include working as a Regional Controller at Omnicare Inc. from July 2009 to June 2012, and as an Accounting Manager- Accounts Payable at Luxottica Retail North America from June 2006 to July 2009.

Dan began their career at EY, where they worked as a Senior Accountant from September 2004 to June 2006.

Dan McGowan has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Bowling Green State University, which they obtained between 1999 and 2003. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Accountancy degree at Miami University, specializing in Accounting and Finance, from 2003 to 2004.
