Minyoung Do is a seasoned data analyst with extensive experience in program monitoring, evaluation, and data visualization. Currently serving as a Senior Data Analyst at West Side United since September 2020, Minyoung supports multiple initiatives by collaborating with program managers to enhance data collection processes and reporting systems. Minyoung has also led evaluation efforts and developed organizational data dashboards. Prior roles include Data Analyst and Applied Data Fellow, with significant contributions to health equity initiatives and community health assessments. Minyoung holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Minnesota. Currently pursuing a Certificate in Data Science for Business from Harvard Business School, Minyoung's diverse background combines qualitative and quantitative research skills across various sectors.

About Us The nine vibrant and diverse neighborhoods comprising Chicago’s West Side are at the heart of the city’s civic and commercial vitality. Yet people in these neighborhoods experience rates of chronic diseases like diabetes, asthma, hypertension, and infant mortality rates far above the national average. Barriers to health and wellness extend far beyond the health sector. Medical evidence shows that the root causes of many illnesses that shorten the lives of people who live in urban areas are not based in biology or behavior, but are instead determined by the social forces like inequities in education, employment, food access, violence and transportation. The arteries circulating opportunity and prosperity to the West Side are blocked.
