Jeff Hatala has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Jeff currently holds the role of Director of the Health Sciences program at West Texas A&M University. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Professor and MPH Program Director at Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center School of Public Health. Jeff also served as an Associate Professor and MPH Program Director at Texas A&M School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Management. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Texas State University and as a Research Associate at SC Rural Health Research Center. Jeff also worked at Maximus (formerly PSI) as a Proposal Manager and at Avaya as a Product Marketing Manager, Team Lead for Proposals, Business Consultant, Special Bids Manager, and eCRM Business Development Manager. Jeff started their career as a Senior Proposal Manager at Avaya (previously Lucent Technologies) and as an Adjunct Instructor at Community College of Denver.
Jeff Hatala holds a BA in English from West Virginia University, an MA in Journalism from the University of South Carolina, and an MBA in e-Business from the University of Phoenix. Jeff also obtained a PhD in Health Services Policy and Management from the University of South Carolina's Arnold School of Public Health. Jeff's education spanned from 1985 to 2013.
