Eric Grabiel

Eric Grabiel is an accomplished educational administrator with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Dean of the School of Professional Studies and Director of the School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development at West Valley College since April 2020, Eric previously held the role of Director for the Learning Communities Center and Noncredit Programs at Cabrillo College from May 2010 to April 2020. In this position, Eric managed various learning communities and initiatives related to noncredit programs. Earlier in the career, Eric served as Basic Skills/First Year Experience Coordinator at Cabrillo College and Associate Director at the Community Agroecology Network. Eric began the professional journey as an EOP Counselor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration focusing on Public Policy Analysis from California State University, Monterey Bay, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA.
