John Giovengo

John Giovengo has extensive experience in legislative operations, currently serving as Clerk of the Senate Health and Human Resources Committee for the West Virginia Legislature since November 2018, overseeing various health-related committees and ensuring effective governance. Previously, John held the position of Assistant to the Committee on Finance, coordinating budgetary hearings and facilitating the budgetary process for executive agencies and the senate. John also directed daily activities for a large applicant pool as Page Coordinator at the capitol. Earlier experience includes working as an Administration Assistant at State Farm®, where responsibilities included managing schedules and marketing initiatives. John holds a Master of Public Administration from West Virginia State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Government from both West Virginia State University and Ohio University.
