Andrew Rhodes is a Teaching Assistant Professor and the Undergraduate Program Coordinator for the MAE program at West Virginia University since April 2020. As a co-founder and lead brewer at The Neighborhood Kombuchery since January 2019, Andrew focuses on producing locally brewed draft kombucha tailored for an adventurous audience in Morgantown, WV. Andrew's academic background includes a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University, along with dual BS degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Previous roles include several internships with NASA and the Air Force Research Laboratory, as well as experience at the Autonomy Technology Research Center, where work involved sensor calibration in complex environments. Andrew has also gained international exposure through study abroad programs in Spanish language and culture at Universidad de Murcia.
