Lulu Williamson

Lulu Williamson is a Teaching Assistant Professor at West Virginia University, specializing in design thinking, design ethics, and capstone courses for design students since January 2020. In addition, Lulu serves as the Director of Online Programs at Davis College, overseeing online course development, training faculty, and teaching online courses. Previous experiences include working as a Tour Director for Explore America, where Lulu guided educational tours in Washington, D.C., and NYC, and as Academic Lead at NewSchool of Architecture & Design, focusing on online education in Design Thinking. Earlier roles at Walden University included leading numerous study abroad and public service trips, and holding the position of Senior Director of Global Engagement, where Lulu provided academic oversight for design thinking programs in several countries. Lulu holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, as well as multiple master's degrees from Montana State University Billings, The Johns Hopkins University, and The American University Washington DC.
