Thomas Motes possesses extensive legal experience in intellectual property and patent law. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property at West Virginia University, Thomas Motes has previously held positions as an Associate at Jackson Kelly PLLC and as an Attorney at Purple Land Management. Additional experience includes working as an Associate Patent Attorney at Brooks, Cameron & Huebsch, PLLC, as well as a Legal Intern in the Office of Technology Transfer at West Virginia University.
