Samuel Adjei Appiah

Samuel Adjei Appiah is an experienced policy officer currently working at West Yorkshire Combined Authority since November 2022. Prior to this role, Samuel served as an Insight and Research Officer at Transport for Greater Manchester from December 2021 to November 2022. Samuel's academic background includes a PhD in Transport Planning, completed at the University of Leeds from 2016 to 2020, where also held positions as a doctoral researcher and teaching assistant. Earlier studies at the University of Leeds resulted in a Master’s Degree in Transport Planning in 2015, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Planning was obtained from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi from 2009 to 2013.
