Daniel Chacreton, PhD, MPH, CPH, serves as a Senior Epidemiologist at Westat since June 2023 and is also a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of South Florida, focusing on public health research projects including COVID-19 and mosquito-borne diseases. Previously, Daniel held roles as Senior Epidemiologist and Senior Biostatistician at the State of Florida Department of Health, and co-founded r2 Research, specializing in public health data analysis. Other significant positions include Chief of the Office of Community Health Assessment and various epidemiologist roles within the Florida Department of Health. Daniel’s academic background includes a PhD in Public Health from the University of South Florida, complemented by a Master of Public Health, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University.
