Lori Nathanson

Lori Nathanson is a seasoned research professional currently serving as a Principal Research Associate at Westat since January 2024. An independent consultant since January 2013, Lori specializes in strategy, research, and training focused on enhancing the impact of youth-serving organizations. Previous roles include Senior Technical Assistance Lead at Insight Policy Research, Director of Partnerships and Director of Research at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, Faculty Affiliate at NYU Residential Life and Housing Services, and Research Associate at the Research Alliance for NYC Schools. Lori’s academic background includes a PhD in Risk and Prevention in Education Sciences from the University of Virginia and a BA in Education, Psychology, and Public Policy from Duke University.
