Cheryl Goode

Cheryl Goode is an experienced educational professional currently serving as a Senior Project Coordinator III at WestEd since December 2021. Prior to this role, Cheryl held the position of Assessment Lead/Specialist for K-20 Science at ETS from August 2013 to December 2021, where responsibilities included Agile delivery lead, DEI coordinator, and program manager. With a solid background in teaching various life, physical, and health sciences at secondary and post-collegiate levels, Cheryl has advanced training in assessment methodologies. Additional experience includes teaching as a Secondary Science Teacher in Dallas ISD and Mesquite ISD from January 2000 to July 2013, as well as serving as an SAT/ACT Instructor and Private Tutor at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. Cheryl is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Science at the University of North Texas, holding an MA in Life Sciences and Education from The University of Texas at Dallas and a BS in Biological Sciences from Hampton University.
