Michael Neuenfeldt

Michael Neuenfeldt has extensive experience in financial management and strategy, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at WestEd since March 2011, where previous roles included Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance & Contracts. Prior to this, Michael held various financial specialist positions at Symantec, including roles in R&D controllership and technical accounting and external reporting. Michael's earlier experience includes leading finance and procurement teams at WestEd, as well as roles in business development and consulting at prominent companies like Banana Republic: Gap, Inc., and Bain & Company, Inc. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School, an MS in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Stanford University, and a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University.
