Taunya Nesin, Ed.D., is the Director of STEM Networking and Partnerships at WestEd since April 2022. Previously, Taunya served as a Senior Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from April 2018 to October 2021 and held advisory roles with the DC STEM Network and the DC Public Charter School Board, where Taunya was Senior Manager on the School Quality and Accountability team. Taunya's educational background includes an AB in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard University, an Ed.D. in Educational Administration and Policy from The George Washington University, and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Teachers College, Columbia University.
