Elin Sandell has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Elin is currently working as an HR Specialist at Westermo Network Technologies since December 2020. Additionally, Elin has experience working as an HR Responsible at BrainTek Chalmers Rekrytering AB, where they handled HR issues and supported recruitment processes. Elin also worked as an HR-Advisor at ABB AB, providing advice on HR-related matters.

Furthermore, Elin served as a Student Informator at Akademikerförbundet SSR, representing the union at the school and informing students about the union's work and benefits.

Elin Sandell completed their Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Örebro University between 2006 and 2009. Elin then pursued Economics & Business Administration at the University of Gothenburg from 2009 to 2010. Prior to university, Elin Sandell obtained their Studentexamen in the Tvärvetenskapliga programmet from Rudbeckianska between 2002 and 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Elin Sandell has obtained several certifications. Elin earned the 360 Feedback Facilitator certification from ABB/Cubiks in May 2020. In December 2013, they obtained the Basic Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute. Elin also holds a 6 Sigma Green Belt Certificate from VCMQ (Volvo Car Group), obtained in May 2013. Furthermore, Elin Sandell completed the World Class Employer Branding certification from the Employer Branding Academy in April 2018.
