Carl Dobbs has extensive experience in power system operations, currently serving as the Power System Dispatch Manager at the Western Area Power Administration since October 2004. Prior roles include Generation Dispatcher and Lead/Supervisor at the same organization, as well as Generation Dispatcher at the California ISO from February 2000 to October 2004. Carl began their career at Southern California Edison, working in Hydro Generation from March 1982 to February 2000. Carl Dobbs holds an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Porterville College and attended Moorpark College and California Lutheran University before that.
