Kevin Chesley

Kevin Chesley is an experienced professional in policy analysis and project management, currently serving as the Interconnections Project Manager at Western Area Power Administration since March 2022. Concurrently, Kevin also acts as an Admissions Counselor at the University of Maryland. Previous roles include Analyst in the Policy and Federal Affairs Department at Xcel Energy, where responsibilities involved FERC policy analysis, and Special Assistant for Land Resources for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, appointed by Governor Larry J. Kevin also worked as a Natural Resource Specialist at the Bureau of Land Management, managing national policy guidance, and contributed as a Field Organizer for the 2012 Obama Presidential Campaign. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Environmental and Waste Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
