Anais Faraj has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Anais started their career as a Sovereign Analyst/Economist at Fitch Ratings in 1998. In 2000, they joined Nomura as a Global Strategist and later moved on to become an Executive Director, Middle East and then the CEO of Saudi Arabia. In 2008, they briefly worked as a Consultant at Piper Jaffray before taking on the role of Managing Director and CEO of TNI Saudi Arabia at THE NATIONAL INVESTOR. Anais also served as the Head of Middle East at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) from 2015 to 2018. Anais Faraj completed their International Baccalaureate (IB) degree at Bahrain International School from 1985 to 1989.

Anais then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance (BSc(Econ)) at Aberystwyth University from 1989 to 1992.

Afterward, they attended The University of Manchester from 1992 to 1993, where they earned an LL.M. degree in Law and Economics.

Following that, they enrolled at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Ghent University in 1992 to 1993, obtaining diplomas in European Law and Economics from both institutions.

Lastly, from 1993 to 1997, Anais Faraj pursued postgraduate research in Political Economy at the University of Exeter.
