Chetan Mohin

Chetan Mohin has over 20 years of work experience in the finance and technology industry. Chetan started their career as a Senior Sybase Developer/DBA at Morgan Stanley in 2000. Chetan then worked as a Sybase Expert/Software Development Consultant at J.P. Morgan from 2001 to 2002. In 2002, they briefly served as an Application Developer at MassMutual.

From 2003 to 2016, Mohin worked as an Independent Contractor/Consultant in Portfolio Tools and Trading Platforms at Western Asset Management. In this role, they developed backend solutions for trading data and provided expertise in SQL Server and SAP Sybase.

In 2017, Mohin became the Technical Engineering Lead (Data Analytics & Engineering) at Western Asset Management. Chetan led a team of 12 and was responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated database systems. Chetan also developed data strategy, solution roadmaps, and database architecture.

Throughout their career, Mohin has demonstrated strong technical skills, particularly in database management and development.

Chetan Mohin completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems and Mathematics from Ramapo College of New Jersey between 1991 and 1995. In 1995, they also attended the Chubb Programmer Resources, Top Gun School for software development. Chetan recently pursued an Executive MBA with a focus on Leadership and Marketing at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, from 2022 to 2023.

Additionally, Chetan has obtained various certifications in the field of programming and database management. Chetan completed courses such as "Database Structures and Management with MySQL," "Version Control," and "Introduction to Databases" through Coursera in September and October 2022. In January 2023, they obtained certifications in "Advanced MySQL Topics," "Database Clients," and "Programming in Python" from Coursera.
