Francis Constantino de Souza

Francis Constantino de Souza has over 25 years of work experience in the financial industry. Francis started their career at Banco Santander in 1996, where they worked as an Analyst Senior, handling operational procedures, regulatory reporting, and fund administration. Francis then moved to Santander Asset Management in 2005, where they served as a Coordinating Middle Societário until 2008.

In 2008, Francis joined Itaú Unibanco as a Fiduciary Specialist, managing fiduciary responsibilities until 2012. Following that, they worked at Safra from 2015 to 2021, holding multiple roles. As an Especialista Jurídico Asset, they led a team of three and handled legal and strategic activities, including analyzing and implementing changes in investment funds' corporate structure and communicating with various departments within the organization.

Francis also served as an Especialista Proteção e Privacidade de Dados, where they oversaw the implementation of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), developed training programs, and ensured compliance with data privacy regulations.

Most recently, Francis started working at Western Asset Management in 2021 in the Legal and Compliance role.

Francis Constantino de Souza's education history includes attending Universidade Anhembi Morumbi for their Graduação degree in Direito (Law). Francis also studied Economics at Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM. Additionally, they pursued further studies in Direito Digital e Proteção de Dados (Digital Law and Data Protection) at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
