Goran Hagegard

Goran Hagegard, CFA, has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1989, they worked at ABB as a Business Manager and Project Manager, overseeing financial management, customer relationships, and project delivery for large steam turbine installations. In 1993, they joined Booz & Company as an Associate, advising corporations on strategic, operational, and organizational matters.

In 1996, Hagegard founded Adacra, a successful management and technology consulting firm in the financial services sector. As Founder and CEO, they grew the company to a profitable $10M business with 70 employees, focusing on business process transformation and IT development.

After that, they returned to Booz & Company as a Principal from 2005 to 2008. In this role, they consulted financial services firms and technology-enabled industries on high-impact strategic, operational, and organizational issues. Goran also mentored junior staff members.

From 2008 to 2013, Hagegard served as a Managing Director at Greenwich Associates, where they consulted with investment managers and consultants on market and distribution-related matters. Goran built strong relationships with approximately 60 clients, prospects, and investment consultants, consistently growing their book of business.

Since 2014, Hagegard has been with Western Asset Management, initially serving as the Head of Product Management & Strategic Development. In this role, they contributed to the development and management of investment products and advised on strategic initiatives. Since November 2017, they have held the position of Head of Outsourced CIO Relationships, overseeing relationships with outsourced chief investment officer clients.

Goran Hagegard, CFA, obtained an MBA with High Distinction, Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued graduate studies at the School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1988 to 1989. Goran also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University, which they completed from 1985 to 1989.

In terms of certifications, Goran Hagegard is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, which they obtained from the CFA Institute in October 2014. Additionally, they hold certifications for Series 63 from the NASAA (obtained month and year not specified) and Series 7 from the FINRA (obtained month and year not specified).
