Julian Jantschik has accumulated a diverse range of work experiences in the financial industry. Julian started their career as an intern in the Product Management and Investment Solution Department at Deutsche Bank in 2009. From there, they joined Deutsche Bank Suisse SA in 2010, where they held various roles such as Mutual Funds/Hedge Funds/ETF Sales for the EMEA Region and later became an Alternatives Specialist, focusing on Liquid and Illiquid Fund Solutions for the EMEA Region. During their time at Deutsche Bank Suisse SA, they also participated in the Global Trainee program, gaining exposure to FX-Trading, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Relationship Management departments across the globe.
In 2014, Julian moved to Fisch Asset Management, where they worked as a Business Development Partner, focusing on Clients & Markets for the German Institutional sector until 2018. Currently, they are working at Western Asset Management as part of the Institutional Business team, covering Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Western Asset Management is a global fixed-income investment firm, offering a wide range of bond portfolios to institutional investors.

Julian Jantschik holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of St.Gallen, which they obtained between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Quantitative Management with a focus on Mathematics for Management at Harvard Business School starting in 2016. Julian also earned a Diplom Betriebswirt degree from Hochschule Landshut between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor (with honours) in International Business Management at Ashcroft Business School, Cambridge from 2005 to 2008.
In terms of certifications, Julian Jantschik is a CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) Charterholder, which they obtained in April 2015 from the CAIA Association.
