Katy Weisbeck

Katy Weisbeck, CFA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Katy currently works as a Research Analyst at Western Asset Management since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Fixed Income Due Diligence Analyst at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. from October 2021 to April 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, Katy held multiple roles at Bloomberg LP. Katy started as a Financial Product Analyst in July 2017 and then transitioned to the roles of Fixed Income Portfolio and Risk Advanced Specialist and Advanced Structured Products Specialist from May 2018 to March 2019. Katy later became a Portfolio and Risk Analytics Implementation Manager from March 2019 to October 2021.

Before their career in finance, Katy gained experience as a Finance Intern at TableSafe from April 2016 to June 2017. Katy also held leadership positions at Kappa Delta Sorority, serving as the Chapter President from November 2015 to January 2017 and as the Vice President of Finance from December 2014 to December 2015. In addition, they worked as an Office Assistant at Seattle Boiler Works Inc from October 2015 to July 2016 and as an Office of Annual Giving Student Caller at the University of Washington from May 2015 to January 2016.

Katy Weisbeck, CFA, pursued their education at the University of Washington from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics with a focus in Mathematics. Prior to attending university, Katy graduated from Central Valley High School in 2013.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Katy also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, which they obtained from the CFA Institute in April 2022.
