Christopher Rumenos

Christopher Rumenos is an experienced professional currently serving as the Fire Policy & Planning Officer at the Western Australian Department of Parks and Wildlife since August 2019, where responsibilities include coordinating DBCA/FPC State Bushfire Pre-formed Teams and overseeing the Fire Intranet. Rumenos has also held roles with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, including Acting Fire Policy & Planning Officer and Resource Assessment Officer, and serves as a Volunteer Firefighter, possessing extensive qualifications in firefighting and emergency management. Additionally, Rumenos runs a consulting business and has held leadership positions such as President of the Students of Natural & Agricultural Sciences at the UWA Student Guild and International Residential Adviser at St. George's College. Previous experience includes managing Prophet Computers and serving as a Rifleman in the Australian Army. Rumenos is pursuing a degree at The University of Western Australia, expected to complete in 2025.
