Dr Kellie Pendoley

North West Shelf Flatback Turtle Conservation Program Scientific Panel. at Western Australian Department of Parks and Wildlife

Dr. Kellie Pendoley is an experienced environmental scientist and director of Pendoley Environmental Pty Ltd, providing specialized services in light pollution and sea turtle research since 1997. Currently a board member of the Australasian Dark Sky Alliance and the International Sea Turtle Society, Dr. Pendoley has held various advisory roles, including with the Australian Government's North-west Marine Parks Network and the Western Australian Department of Parks and Wildlife. As a member of the IUCN Marine Turtle Specialist Group, Dr. Pendoley also served as the Regional Vice Co-Chair for Australasia. Previous roles include serving on the Perth Zoo Board and the Gorgon Project Marine Turtle Expert Panel. Dr. Pendoley holds a PhD in Biology from Murdoch University, complemented by Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the Florida Institute of Technology in Oceanography and Environmental Science, respectively.
