Western Australian Museum
Andrew Hosie is currently working as a Curator at the Western Australian Museum since February 2009. Prior to that, Andrew worked as an information assistant at the Marine Biological Association in 2008 and as a Biosecurity collections coordinator at NIWA from 2005 to 2008. Andrew holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Curtin University and a Master of Science in Zoology from the University of Canterbury.

Western Australian Museum
The Western Australian Museum was established in 1891 (as the ‘Perth Museum’) and its initial collections were of geological, ethnological and biological specimens. Indeed, it can claim to be one of the oldest scientific institutions in the State. In 1959, its botanical collection was transferred to the new Herbarium and it continued to concentrate on earth sciences and zoology.
