Bill Mensch has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Bill is the Founder and Trustee of The Bill and Dianne Mensch Foundation, Inc. since 2011. Prior to that, they founded The Western Design Center, Inc. in 1978 and served as the Chairman & CEO. Bill also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Arizona State University from 1994 to 1998. Bill Mensch started their career at MOS Technology in 1974 as a Microprocessor Design Manager, where they designed and engineered the 6502 family of integrated circuits and obtained patents for these chips. Bill began their professional journey as a Design Engineer at Motorola Semiconductor in 1971.
Bill Mensch attended Temple University from 1963 to 1966, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Arizona from 1969 to 1971, specializing in Electrical, Semiconductor, and Systems Engineering, and received a BSEE degree.
