Sourabh Sankule

Sourabh Sankule is a seasoned engineering professional with over a decade of experience in systems design and firmware engineering, currently serving as Director of Systems Design Engineering at Western Digital since July 2012. At Western Digital, Sourabh leads the technical product development and management of NVMe SSDs while also overseeing memory system design and reclamation NAND qualification strategies. Previous positions include Senior Engineering Manager and various engineering roles where Sourabh focused on the firmware design of SATA SSDs and other data storage products. Prior to Western Digital, Sourabh held positions at IP Infusion, developing networking software for next-generation network equipment, and at Indrion Technologies, designing embedded solutions for IoT and sensor networking. Sourabh holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, obtained in 2009.
