Seanna McConnell has extensive work experience in various roles related to indigenous partnerships and negotiations. Seanna began their career as a Negotiator at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada in 2004 and continued in that role until 2010. From 2010 to 2016, they worked at BC Hydro as a Senior Negotiator and Manager in Aboriginal negotiations. In 2016, McConnell joined Western Forest Products, where they held several positions, including Director of First Nations Partnerships and Business Ventures, Director of Indigenous Relationships, and their current role as Vice President of Indigenous Partnerships.
Seanna McConnell obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Victoria between 1992 and 1997. Their double major consisted of History and Hispanic Studies.
