Lindsay Dresser has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Lindsay is currently working as the Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Western Golf Association/Evans Scholars Foundation since January 2023. Before that, they held the position of Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from December 2021 to December 2022 at the same organization. Prior to that, Lindsay worked as the Director of Events & Stewardship from June 2018 to November 2021. Lindsay was responsible for planning and analyzing events, managing logistics, and cultivating relationships with stakeholders and donors.
In addition, Lindsay worked as an Outdoor Discovery Program Instructor at L.L.Bean from April 2021 to May 2022, where they taught paddling techniques and safety skills for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking.
Before joining L.L.Bean, Lindsay served in the Chicago Blackhawks organization. Lindsay worked as a Senior Customer Service Executive from June 2015 to June 2018, managing a book of business and servicing accounts. Prior to that, they held the position of Customer Service Executive from April 2011 to June 2015, managing and growing an account base.
Lindsay also worked for the Official Chicago Sky, where they started as an Account Executive from August 2009 to April 2011, responsible for increasing ticket sales and brand awareness. Lindsay also worked as a Marketing Intern from May 2009 to August 2009, where they planned and implemented events and supported community initiatives.
Lindsay Dresser obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sport Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including TVC "Essentials" Community Member from The Violet Collective in 2024, Responsible Business Leaders from United Way of Metro Chicago in 2023, Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University in 2022, and CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross in 2021.

The Western Golf Association conducts six national golf championships and sponsors the nationally acclaimed Evans Scholars Foundation. Headquartered in Glenview, Illinois, the organization was founded in 1899 by 11 Chicago-area golf clubs to promote their interests in golf. In addition to the BMW Championship on the PGA TOUR and the Evans Scholars Invitational on the Korn Ferry Tour, the WGA conducts four prestigious amateur championships, the Western Amateur, the Western Junior, and the Women’s Western Golf Association’s Amateur and Junior championships. Established by the WGA and famed amateur golfer Charles Chick Evans Jr., the Evans Scholars Foundation provides full housing and tuition scholarships to high-achieving caddies across the country. Currently, a record 1,045 caddies are enrolled in 19 universities across the nation as Evans Scholars. The Program, which is supported by the WGA, is funded by contributions from more than 33,000 Par Club members, including Evans Scholars Alumni, as well as proceeds from the BMW Championship. Since the Program’s inception in 1930, more than 11,320 caddies nationwide have graduated as Evans Scholars.
