Suzy Smith P.e.

Suzy Smith, P.E. is a professional environmental engineer with expertise in EPA and OSHA compliance, currently serving as an Environmental Engineer at Western Metals Recycling and Texas Port Recycling, both Nucor companies, since September 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management from June 2015 to September 2022, where Suzy focused on stormwater permitting, hazardous waste management, and oil spill prevention. Earlier positions at the Utah Water Research Laboratory included Project Engineer, Associate Engineer, and Graduate Research Assistant, with research concentrated on arsenic mobilization remediation. Suzy holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field, both from Utah State University.
