Jim Lightcap

Jim Lightcap is an experienced information technology professional with a strong background in customer service and system administration. Currently serving as the Information Technology Customer Service Manager at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, M.D. School of Medicine since August 2014, Jim directs daily operations and implements strategies for service improvement. Previously, Jim held various roles including IT System Administrator and Independent Consultant at Stainless Fabrication & Engineering, Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing security systems and developing IT policies. Their tenure at Kalamazoo Valley Community College spanned 14 years and involved roles such as Network Manager and Part Time Instructor. Jim holds a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University and an Associate of Applied Science in MicroComputer Technician from Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
