Laura Bauler

Laura Bauler serves as an Associate Professor at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine since June 2015, where Bauler is also Co-Director of the Master in Biomedical Science Program, focusing on enhancing diversity in medical education. Prior roles include Assistant Professor and Grants Editor, developing students' critical analysis and writing skills, and Scientific Writer/Editor, producing high-quality scientific documents. Bauler's earlier research experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Rocky Mountain Laboratory, investigating Chlamydia trachomatis, and a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Michigan. Additional research internships were completed at notable institutions, contributing to various fields of microbiology and immunology.
