Michael R. Brancato M.d.

Michael R. Brancato, M.D., currently serves as an Instructor and Resident Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine since June 2022, while also participating as a member of the BMH System Sepsis PI Committee. Previously, Michael completed medical education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2016 to 2022, where Michael earned a Doctor of Medicine degree and also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Chemistry. Prior experience includes roles such as a Patient Advocate at Northwestern Medicine, providing patient support and communication, a Lead Technician at Fixato Solutions, where Michael launched an IT service company, and a Medical Research Intern focusing on movement disorders at Central DuPage Hospital. Michael's earlier roles include coaching basketball and working as a cashier, where skills in customer service and team leadership were developed.
