Patty Eschliman, MHA, MLS(ASCP)DLM, CPC has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and organizations. Patty currently serves as the Director of Laboratory Operations at Western Missouri Medical Center since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Certified Professional Coach at www.TheLabLeaderCoach.com from January 2018 onwards. Patty also has experience as a Professional Public Speaker at The Lab Leader Coach since January 2002.

In terms of managerial experience, Patty served as the Laboratory Manager at St. Luke's Hospital South from April 2017 to March 2021. Patty also held the position of Laboratory Manager at Madonna Rehab Hospital from May 2002 to March 2017 and at the Arthritis Center of Nebraska from 1997 to 2002.

Patty has been actively involved in professional associations and held leadership positions in the Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA) and ASCP. Patty served as the Director on the Board of Directors at CLMA from April 2008 to April 2019 and as the President of CLMA from April 2015 to April 2017. Patty Eschliman has a Master's in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Technology from the University of Central Missouri, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Patty also holds additional certifications, including being a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, which they obtained in December 2017. Patty is also a Diplomate in Laboratory Management (DLM), certified by the American Society for Clincial Pathology, and a Medical Technologist (MLS) certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
