Grace Cardenas

Grace Cardenas is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the water district sector. Currently serving as the Strategic Communications Manager at Western Municipal Water District since April 2022, Grace previously held the position of Public Information Officer at Rancho California Water District from August 2016 to November 2020, and worked as a Public Information Representative at Vallecitos Water District from October 2014 to September 2016. Before these roles, Grace was a Communications Specialist at CA-NV AWWA, where responsibilities included assembling comprehensive governing board reports and crafting the annual report. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Public Affairs Coordinator at AAGIE and as a Public Affairs Specialist at the Center for Homeland Defense and Security.
