Jose Coll

Jose Coll, Ph.D., currently serves as the Provost and Vice President of Academic at Western Oregon University, overseeing academic affairs and programs across multiple colleges and services. Previously, Jose held leadership positions at Portland State University as Interim Dean of the College of Education and Dean of the School of Social Work, as well as at Texas State University as Director and Professor of the School of Social Work. Additional roles include directing veteran student services at Saint Leo University and contributing as a clinical associate professor at the University of Southern California. Jose Coll has extensive experience in social work, education, and community engagement, backed by strong academic credentials including a Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision from the University of South Florida.
