Donna Gilbert

Donna Gilbert is an experienced Workforce Development Program Administrator with a tenure at the Western Piedmont Council of Governments since December 2013, overseeing federal workforce programs in multiple counties, including initiatives for youth and young adults. Prior roles at Catawba Valley Community College included coordinating the Back to Work Grant to aid long-term unemployed citizens and serving as a Student Services Specialist for the Health IT Workforce Development Program. Additional experience includes managing JobLink services and recruiting at Thomasville Upholstery Inc., and branch management at Manpower Inc. Donna Gilbert holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
