Kristin Ferrell (Ratliff)

Kristin (Ratliff) Ferrell has a diverse range of work experience in research, project management, and education. Kristin started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma and later worked as a Graduate Research Assistant/Postdoc at Temple University. Kristin then became an Adjunct Faculty member at Villanova University.

In 2008, Kristin joined the University of Chicago as the Director of Education Research for the Spatial Intelligence and Learning Center. Kristin led a research team, focusing on spatial cognition in educational settings.

Since 2010, Kristin has been working at WPS - Educational and Psychological Assessments. Kristin started as a Project Director and later became the Head of Research Adaptations & Translations. In their role, they develop and manages R&D policies for modifications to WPS products, ensuring their integrity and accessibility across different populations. Kristin also develops psychological and educational assessments for publication, with a focus on language development and early detection of language disorders.

Throughout their various roles, Kristin has demonstrated skills in project management, research methodology, collaborating with authors, technical writing, psychometrics, data analysis, and computer program development.

Kristin (Ratliff) Ferrell began their education in 1997 at the University of Oklahoma, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Psychology. Kristin attended Utrecht University from 1999 to 2000, studying psychology. In 2002, Kristin enrolled at Temple University, where they earned a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology in 2007. Following this, they attended the University of Chicago as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2008 to 2010, specializing in Cognitive Development.
