Senior Coordinator, Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Commissioning at Western Queensland Primary Health Network

Sigrid Tagaloa currently serves as the Senior Coordinator for Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Commissioning at Western Queensland PHN since October 2023 and has been involved with James Cook University as a Field Education Liaison Officer and Adjunct Lecturer since May 2021. Previously, Sigrid held the position of Centre Manager at headspace Mt Isa with Gidgee Healing from October 2018 to September 2023, and spent over a decade at the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women in various roles, culminating as Principal Child Protection Practitioner. Sigrid's early career included work as a Statutory Social Worker at the Department of Child, Youth and Family and a Customer Service Officer at Inland Revenue NZ. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Leadership from CQUniversity, Vocational Graduate Certificates in Community Service Practice and Client Assessment from the Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE, and a Bachelor of Social Work (Hon) from Massey University.
