Jennifer also worked as the Campaign Communications Director for Tom Udall's U.S. Senate campaign, overseeing media outreach and serving as the campaign spokesperson. Jennifer has a background in journalism, having worked as a Reporter for various news organizations such as The Associated Press, The State Newspaper, and The Charlotte Observer. Jennifer has also served as the Director of Strategic Communications at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, where they developed a comprehensive communications plan to increase the school's visibility. Jennifer Talhelm attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a B.A. degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on Journalism. Following this, they attended the University of North Carolina School of Law from 1997 to 2000 and obtained a J.D. degree with a specialization in Law.
