Doug Hankes has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Starting in 2004, they served as the Owner of Thrushwood Farms Quality Meats, Inc. for 15 years until 2019. In 2020, they joined Western Smokehouse Partners as the Vice President of Operations. In January 2022, they were promoted to the role of Chief Product Officer.
Doug Hankes attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2000 to 2004. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Sciences, with a focus on Meat Science/Animal Science.
