Dorian Sowell

Dorian Sowell, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the beverage industry. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Retail Sales Representative for The Julius Schepps Company before transitioning to the role of Retail Sales Representative at Republic Beverage Company in 1997. Dorian then became an Area Manager at Republic Beverage Company from 1999 to 2002.

In 2002, Dorian joined Pernod Ricard USA as a District Manager in Southeast Texas. Dorian later served as an Area Manager in Texas and eventually became a State Manager for Texas and Oklahoma. Dorian held this position for almost nine years, until January 2011. Additionally, from October 2008 to June 2009, Dorian also took on the role of an Area Manager for Texas.

Following their time at Pernod Ricard USA, Dorian joined White Rock Distilleries in 2011. Dorian initially served as a Southwest Division Manager for various states before becoming a Vice President for the Central Division, overseeing 17 distributors in 11 states. Dorian was responsible for managing shipment and profit targets, budgeting, and distributor management.

Currently, Dorian holds the position of Senior Vice President of Sales - Spirits & RTD's - North America at Western Spirits Beverage Company since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President of Sales - Spirits at the same company from July 2020 to May 2023. Before that, they served as Vice President - Central Division from November 2019 to July 2020. Dorian's earliest role at Western Spirits was as the Vice President - Midwest Division, a position they held from June 2012 to November 2019.

Dorian Sowell, MBA, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1985 to 1990.
