Loretta Di Mento

Loretta brings extensive experience in corporate governance, risk management, finance and corporate reporting. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Loretta has over 25 years' experience in audit and accountancy, working particularly with operators, funders, practitioners, suppliers and advocates in the health, aged care and education sectors. Through this work, Loretta has developed a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities in service provision, the trends and emerging risks, and the impact of government policy and regulatory change as it applies to the whole of sector.

Since 2018, Loretta has held roles on boards and audit committees in the not-for-profit sector and for the State and Commonwealth governments, including as an audit committee member for Health Infrastructure NSW.

Formerly an audit partner with Ernst & Young, Loretta has provided professional services across a wide range of organisations and has a practical knowledge of effective risk management and leading corporate governance practices from both a management and board perspective. Her experience extends to working with entities in significant states of change including start up, post-merger and fast growth. As an active coach and mentor, Loretta led diverse teams in all her roles, developing their talent and supporting their progression.
