Michelle Liu

Michelle Liu is a highly accomplished researcher with a strong background in nanomedicine and bionanomaterials. Currently serving as Vice Chancellor's Senior Research Fellow and Group Leader at Western Sydney University since July 2020, Liu previously held the position of NHMRC Peter Doherty Biomedical Fellow and Research Officer at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute from June 2014 to June 2020. Earlier experience includes roles as Research Assistant at the University of South Australia from 2010 to February 2014, as well as Research Staff at the Ian Wark Research Institute in 2010. Liu's career began in pharmaceutical research at Shandong Chia Tai Freda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. from June 2007 to June 2008. Liu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nanomedicine and Bionanomaterials from the University of South Australia, following a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Wuhan University.
