Vanita Yadav

Vanita Yadav is a seasoned academic and researcher currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at the Urban Transformations Research Centre at Western Sydney University since July 2023. Previously, Vanita was a Senior Lecturer at Western Sydney University and held the position of Discipline Leader in Management and Innovation as well as Lecturer in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at CQUniversity from May 2019 to June 2023. Vanita has extensive experience as an independent researcher and entrepreneur and was an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Rural Management Anand, where responsibilities included chairing the Strategy and Policy Area and the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Enterprises. Additional academic contributions include a Fulbright Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at MIT and a Research Affiliate position at Harvard University. Vanita's educational background features a PhD from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and a Fulbright Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from MIT. Earlier career experience includes a Development Executive role at NIIT, working with notable international and domestic clients.
