James Osterloh

James Osterloh is an experienced professional in the financial services and business development sectors, currently serving as the Head of Partnerships at Western Union since July 2021, where leadership of a new business development team focuses on global ecosystem partnerships. Previously, James held the position of Head of Consumer Banking Operations at Western Union International Bank, spearheading the creation of a digital consumer banking platform. Prior to Western Union, James served as Managing Director and Head of Business Development Office at Greensill, overseeing global expansion initiatives. James's career includes significant roles at Standard Bank Group, including Chief Operating Officer, where the establishment of a new Corporate & Investment bank in the Ivory Coast was a key achievement. Early career experience includes serving as a Captain in the British Army, with operational duties in Iraq and Afghanistan. James holds multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, including an MBA from China Europe International Business School and is currently enrolled in the Oxford Fintech Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
