Carrie Anne Marshall

Carrie Anne Marshall is an established academic and practitioner in the field of Occupational Therapy, currently serving as the Associate Director of Research (Acting) and Associate Professor at Western University since July 2018. With extensive experience in various teaching and leadership roles, Carrie has previously worked at Queen's University and other health organizations, focusing on mental health support, rehabilitation, and community development. Carrie’s expertise is supported by a PhD in Rehabilitation Science, which examined the experiences of occupational engagement among individuals transitioning from chronic homelessness to permanent housing. Academic contributions include teaching courses at both undergraduate and master's levels, while also leading research initiatives, such as scoping reviews on traumatic brain injury and aging.
