Raj Thapa, PhD, currently serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Western University, focusing on the role of various circRNA in cancer and organ transplantation. Raj holds teaching positions as a Professor at Fanshawe College, specializing in Microbiology, and has previously contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. With experience as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Noblegen Inc. and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Raj has expertise in microbial strain engineering and bioinformatics. Additionally, Raj has worked as a Scientific Curator for the Encyclopedia of Plant Genome and as a Researcher and Research Biologist in Nepal. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Biology from Western University and a Master's degree in Plant Sciences from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
