Travis Dean

Travis Dean currently holds the position of Vice President at Westfield Specialty Insurance, starting in August 2023. Prior to this role, Travis served as Vice President and Assistant Vice President for E&S Excess Casualty at Sompo International from September 2021 to August 2023. Travis began a career in underwriting at AXA XL, where the title was Underwriter II from February 2019 to September 2021, and before that, worked as a Casualty Facultative Underwriter at Gen Re from July 2016 to February 2019. In an earlier chapter, Travis was a Professional Baseball Player with the Texas Rangers Baseball Club from June 2013 to April 2014, where achievements included being drafted by the New York Yankees in 2010 and the Texas Rangers in both 2012 and 2013, as well as pitching for the Spokane Indians, a Texas Rangers’ Single A affiliate. Travis completed a degree at Kennesaw State University, with studies spanning from 2010 to 2016.
